{"id":871,"date":"2022-08-08T12:25:53","date_gmt":"2022-08-08T12:25:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.recreations.com.au\/?p=871"},"modified":"2023-07-04T11:30:09","modified_gmt":"2023-07-04T11:30:09","slug":"poppies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recreations.subtleglitch.com.au\/?p=871","title":{"rendered":"Poppies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I made this little vase of poppies during a demonstration to show how the layered paper sculptures are constructed and how the recycled <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.recreations.com.au\/?p=762\" target=\"_blank\">diffuser film<\/a> is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again, it&#8217;s all made of shaped paper and I\u2019ve used three layers to give depth, with the diffuser sheet cut to the shape of water in the vase.&nbsp; I decided to back the picture with glass, which allows light to shine through the vase and water.&nbsp; I\u2019m quite pleased with this effect.
